Emerging from the prolific L.A. beat scene, the Glitch Mob have risen to techno-electronic stardom. They return this summer with a short but satisfying three-song EP titled We Can Make the World Stop. “Warrior Concerto” is a violin-rooted stomp that clocks in just under four minutes, but the Glitch Mob drive that violin through a barrage of mid-tempo drum and bass. The sound’s hard hitting, yet balanced with a little softness. While Deadmaus works hard beats in the same genre, the Glitch Mob show they’re content to exist in the same space, but in subtler fashion.
