Along with talking to Sammy Hagar about alien abduction and illustrating Tyler, the Creator songs, Hive’s presented a host of top performances this year as a part of our Live in NYC concert series. The concept’s simple: Take an artist we love, plop them in New York’s Webster Hall and stream the whole thing for fans across the globe. This year we’ve brought a diverse set of sounds from the likes of St. Vincent, the National, Two Door Cinema Club, Katy B and Theophilus London, as well as from our first CMJ showcase featuring the Stepkids, Walk the Moon and Mr. Dream. Here’s Hive’s picks for our most memorable performances from the series. Enjoy. We promise there will be many more in 2012.
