On his 2008 mixtape Independence Day, Curren$y tackled the issue of surprise fatherhood on the song “Paternity Test.” He told the story of how he was innocently playing PS3 when a producer from The Maury Show called him and asked him to come on the show because one of the guests claimed he was the father of her child. We’ve scoured the Internet, but there doesn’t seem to be too much information available on this, except for the song lyrics. But on tour last week, Curren$y took the time to explain that his appearance on The Maury Show did happen. And that he had a real good time. See below:
