Morrissey Brings His Not-So-Subtle Charms to ‘Conan’

As we learned last month, Morrissey recently rehashed his libel lawsuit against NME — he’s seeking vindication against the long-standing Brit music weekly for a 2007 interview that he claims branded him as a racist, forever tarnishing his reputation. In all fairness, it’s way worse than being a crazy cat guy. Thus in a possible statement about his current situation (and yes we’re probably reading way to into this), Moz performed a passionate, arm-flailing version of a relatively new song, “People Are the Same Everywhere,” last night on Conan. See, he doesn’t have a racist bone in his body because when it boils down to it, we are all the same … everywhere.
