If his “Huzzah” video and very quotable interview weren’t enough to convince you that Brooklyn’s Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire is a captivating presence, then this gallery will change your mind. The rapper hit the stage at Glasslands in Brooklyn last night, December 6, and Hive photographer Rebecca Smeyne caught eXquire and his Peel Off the crew before, during and after their set. He laughed at getting called a buzz rapper in our Hive interview, but Smeyne says she was surrounded by fans who knew all the words to his recent Lost in Translation mixtape. That didn’t leave much room for eXquire, who, at 6’4″ and 250 pounds, sometimes had to bend his head just to fit on Glasslands’ tissue-decorated stage.
