On December 8 Brit electronic duo Goldfrapp announced a “Best of” compilation, titled The Singles, which collects their most well-known tracks from their 12-year career. The album will feature two new songs: “Melancholy Sky” and “Yellow Halo.” The latter sounds like an outtake from the airy pop of 2007′s Seventh Tree, as you can hear in this new piecemeal video of home/tour footage. If you’ve ever wondered what Alison Goldfrapp does offstage, you’ll be happy to know that a glamorous dance diva like her still enjoys the simple things in life, like seashells and caterpillars.
The Singles is out February 7 on Astralwerks.
