San Francisco electro-pop band The Limousines are embarking on their very first European tour in mere days — they’ll be in Sweden on Thursday — and to immortalize that milestone, lead singer Eric Victorino created a audio/visual slideshow for us using Soundcloud’s new Instagram mashup, Storywheel.

“I’ve been doing this a long time. I’ve only felt the way I feel right now a couple of times,” Victorino said on Facebook Monday. “Gio [Giusti] and I started this band as a hobby. We were strangers. Now we’re best friends getting ready to fly to Europe tomorrow morning. Holy shit. Breathe… Alright, let’s do it.”

Victorino was previously in the rock band Strata. He and Giusti bonded over email after being introduced by a mutual friend, and later formed The Limousines — an alum of the MTV PUSH program.

In the midst of packing his bags, Victorino threw together this (click, click) little slideshow for us, featuring snaps of pets, hairdos and very muscular calves — all narrated in a much less nostalgic tone than the above Facebook post.
