A few weeks ago, BBU turned us on to Chicago MC ShowYouSuck and we couldn’t help but wonder if he had anything new in the works. Turns out, he did. “Rest in Pizza” was recorded just last Thursday afternoon and showcases what we originally were drawn to by his latest album, OneManPizzaParty. The music blends dark beats, orchestral arrangements and a bleak message. “The song is about a failed relationship where I turn to eating as self medication,” ShowYouSuck tells Hive. “[And] it’s a play off the expression ‘the quickest way to a mans heart is through his stomach.’”

Expect “Rest in Pizza” to appear on his next album, the third installment of the OneManPizzaParty trilogy he’s working on. Look for it this fall.
