From the upcoming Fool’s Gold hip-hop compilation Loosies, A-Trak, Juicy J and Danny Brown squad up for the nerve-inducing track “Piss Test.” A-Trak lays a leaned-out electro instrumental, with syrupy synths punctuated by quick drum rolls and other extraneous drones, glitches and wobbles. Substance abusers Juicy J and Danny Brown fall right in line with trippy tradition, the former shouting out “Walgreens and CVS” and the latter alluding to miscellaneous white powders under his tongue, “Blunt after blunt after motherfucking blunt” his boisterous intro. The chorus is harmless, maybe even a little boring, but the beat induces a mellow, swerve-friendly bop and the verses will make your liver cringe. We expected nothing less.
