Collaborators and UK bass pioneers Skream and Benga headlined Manhattan’s Best Buy Theater last night, spinning a dubstep and electro set for a pumped Wednesday night crowd. We have to assume it’s either Spring Break or parents these days are just really cool, because the majority of the Redbull-chugging crowd flirted with the lower end of the 16+ age requirement. Bandanas, bunny ears and banana suits were all accounted for and present; there was also a great light show and of course, the producers themselves, who included remixes of tracks by Porter Robinson, Rusko, TC and Buraka Som Sistema in their set.
