T.I. is one of those rappers with 50 Cent-like business acumen — we can only imagine what he would have accomplished by now if he hadn’t had so many legal problems. His label, Grand Hustle, is growing steadily, he’s got a VH1 reality show and he’s thinking of expanding his acting repertoire as a superhero (well, we’re definitely entertaining the idea). Right now, life is good for T.I. Appropriately, the promotional run for his eight studio album Troubled Man officially kicks off today with the positive single “Love This Life.” Tip lyrically mimics the easygoing, feel-good pop appeal of his biggest track ever, “Live Your Life,” but instead of Rihanna’s smashing voice on the hook, T.I. harmonizes with himself. His voice is smooth, mellow and confident, and is practically indistinguishable from Wiz Khalifa‘s as he croons to a lady about her high heels, jet-setting and being a good listener. What a guy!
