When you’re young, rich and famous, any yen for drugs can be satisfied through easy access and eager flunkies. But this usually occurs in hotel suites, VIP sections, and other private areas outside of not-so-important people’s sight lines. In the end, that’s what makes Rihanna’s sequence of weed-related events at Coachella so weird. Sitting on a man’s shoulders (presumably her bodyguard?), Rihanna was snapped rolling a blunt in public view, and then she exacerbated the situation by Instagramming the evidence herself. Responding to a news tweet from MTV about the controversy, though, Rihanna made it perfectly clear how much she cares about her image as a role model:
