It’s easy to picture listening to Grimes‘ squeaky-pop dance music in dark, underground nightclubs that only allow entry through some elaborate secret password system — but in her new video for “Nightvision,” the electro-pop artist takes viewers into a different type of dark place: the forest! We think there’s some sort of loose narrative here, where Grimes herself is a vision/guardian angel-type figure to this young, dirty naked couple who may or may not have laid golden eggs. It’s a bit murky, so instead, we’ll just revel in the fact that Grimes actually looks grimey here.
