Electric Daisy Carnival began in Southern California in 1997 as a one-day celebration of electronic dance music. The event has since morphed into three days of music and sun over multiple summer weekends and across the America, with parties in Los Angeles, Colorado, Las Vegas, Dallas and Puerto Rico. This year EDC traveled to the Northeast for the first time, setting up at the Meadowlands in New Jersey on May 18-20 for the estimated 100,000 ravers and kandi kids who danced on the pavement. Hive photographer Loren Wohl captured the weekend for us, grabbing photos of the fans at Avicii, Calvin Harris, ATB, Carl Cox, Steve Angello and more.
