Gossip released their fifth album, A Joyful Noise, yesterday, May 22, and the band celebrated by playing a YouTube-streamed show at Manhattan’s Terminal 5 last night. Longtime Gossip associate SSION (Cody Critcheloe) opened the show. The Brooklyn (by way of Kansas City) artist and musician directed the band’s video for “Men in Love,” and he occasionally wrestles and throws Doritos at Gossip’s Beth Ditto. We don’t know if either happened at last night’s show. But as you can see in the gallery below (by Hive photographer Rebecca Smeyne), Ditto looked too elegant to throw Dorito dust on.
