Ambient art rock was front and center at New York’s Webster Hall last night. Electronic musician Oneohtrix Point Never opened the show and played a chilled-out set, proving New Yorkers with much needed relief from the heatwave that’s currently engulfed the city. Liars headlined the night, supporting their Die Antwoord hair-inspired album WIXIW. The trio played with tempos and song structures throughout the evening, giving the crowd a unsettled feeling throughout their set. Which is a pretty Liars thing to do.
