Singer-songwriter PT Walkley’s warm melodies and confessional lyrics have frequently appeared on primetime television and film soundtracks, but he’s rarely taken his bow in front of the camera. Thus, it’s a pleasant surprise to see him delivering a compact rendition of “Go Away,” complete with a baritone guitar solo. He doesn’t linger in the spotlight, though. Walkley’s last album, Thriller, gave new meaning to the term “power-pop” by finishing at 21 minutes, and his performance here ends at 57 seconds. Would you want a goodbye song to last any longer?
