When Hive checked in earlier this year in with Brooklyn underground rap trio the Flatbush Zombies, they mentioned they were working on a new mixtape. Today, they delivered on that promise and dropped D.R.U.G.S, which breaks down as “death and reincarnation under God’s supervision.” Spiritual, huh? The 16-track project is their most substantial offering to date and features past standouts “Thug Waffle” and “Laker Paper” plus the puntastically-titled “Breakfast at Epiffanies.”
