Hive Five: Our daily listicle of musical musings
Big K.R.I.T. isn’t just one of the world’s most talented rap chaps — he’s also one of the rap realm’s foremost Instagram users. So who better to give up a bunch of handy tips to using the social photo filter app? Snap away!
1. You Can Never Post Up Too Many Pics
Instagram is personal, so you can’t have too many pics if they’re of things in your life. I just came from overseas, so I was taking pictures of like the billboards and the posters. Don’t be afraid.

2. Age Your Pictures Wisely
I like to use like the 1980s filter. It kinda gives a picture a tint like when you was taking a photo with a Polaroid camera. I like how it looks a little dated. But I don’t really like using the Brannon one.

3. Posting Pics of Food Is Okay!
I don’t really trip when people post up pictures of what they’re eating. I mean, I travel and eat some dope cuisines, so why not take the picture?

4. Give A Glimpse Of Your Life
I follow Bun B, so to follow him it’s like I’m traveling along with him as he goes about his day. It’s cool, you get to see what it’s like to be that person at times.

5. Follow Your Friends
The people I follow are Smoke DZA, Big Sean, and I really just follow my clique, like Johnny Shipes. Those are the ones that I follow as far as people I interact with.
