Beast Patrol Work Through Frustration on “Disbeliever”

Here’s “Disbeliever,” the new single from brood-rock outfit Beast Patrol’s forthcoming debut EP Fierce & Grateful. Written by singer Vanessa Bley, the song opens with distorted guitar riffs and battered drums and builds to the moment when Bley erupts with the refrain, “I wish I was like all the rest, able to stay in love/ But something always creeps on in, and takes away what’s us.” Speaking about the down-on-love track, she tells Hive: “The lyrics spun from the idea of not being able to stay in relationships and feeling frustrated about it, but also used to it. In general our lyrics tend to focus on the bigger picture of life, the beast of it all.”

Fierce & Grateful arrives September 25. Stream “Disbeliever” below and grab it for free here.
