Do you think you have what it takes to look like Kitty Pryde? If so, you’re in luck, as the Tumblr-rapstress is holding a contest to dress up like herself for Halloween. Announcing the challenge via the above YouTube video, she’s promised a swag bag of personal prizes for the winner. But how exactly do you pull-off the look of the official rap game Taylor Swift? Here’s Kitty’s official list of dos and don’ts.

1. Glitter Is Key

I’m a glitter connoisseur so I suppose I think the glitter from Claire’s [Accessories] doesn’t really work the best, but it’s also the hardest to get off. So, it depends on how much you want to commit to the project!

2. Dye Your Hair

Definitely dye your hair permanently if you want to dress up as me. It’s light auburn.

3. Do Not Wear Pajamas

There’s videos of me in a lot of outfits but there was one show where I wore pajamas. I’m not sure why — it was some sort of weird promotional trauma I was going through and I didn’t think it was important to dress for my show — but definitely don’t dress up as me in pajamas. If you wear those, you’ll lose.

4. It’s All About the Boots

Wear the most ridiculous boots you can find. Steve Madden makes cool-ass boots, but right now I really like my friend Annie’s — she has these cowboy boots and I think I wear them more than she does. I’m wearing them now.

5. Defy Gender Boundaries

Guys can totally dress up as me. I mean, I don’t have boobs so that’s the only thing that would get in the way!
