Wildlife Control are a bi-coastal band of brothers made up of Neil and Sumul Shah, that manage to get a full rock experience with just two guys in the studio. And you can hear this clearly on their new track “Different,” a song that’s inspired by Phillip Glass and the cosmopolitan makeup of their two hometowns, Brooklyn and San Francisco. “‘Different’ wasn’t really inspired by a particular person,” Sumul tells Hive, “But by the people and things we see in our neighborhoods every day. They’re often referred to as being “hipster” places, which of course has some negative connotations, but they are truly great places to observe the uniqueness and beauty of the world and the people in it.”
