The ACBs Explore Hiding Out in Record Stores on “Record Store”

Life in college towns is usually pretty carefree and laid-back, but for Kansas City, Missouri’s the ACBs, that existence provided the uncomfortable impetus for their new song, “Record Store.” “The older we get, the stranger it feels being surrounded by pretty girls and college kids,” admits guitarist/vocalist Konnor Ervin. “There’s often a frantic search for the nearest record store, where we can hide for a while. Sometimes till it gets dark.” If great music can’t keep open traditional music stores, at least they should just stay open for shy rockers to camp out in.
