On Andy Comer (Tel Aviv, Prosacis) new Bloody Amateur project, the Brooklyn musician is deliberately trying to tap into something “raw and direct.” And you can hear this on his new song “The Light,” where his brooding voice mingles with dirgy guitars, as he reflects on his youth through a mediated lens. “[The song] is about how I felt when I saw myself for the first time, at a very young age, in family photos.”
