As Diplo‘s Major Lazer venture gears up for the release of Free the Universe, BBC disc jock Annie Mac has ruffled up anticipation for the project by airing out a new track titled “Jessica.” Layering guest vocals from Vampire Weekend triller Ezra Koenig over a dusty, low-slung reggae beat, the song conjures up an endearingly displaced vibe — not to be outdone by the top opening line “My bathing suit’s drying in the Porsche.”
