In Young Man‘s new video for “In a Sense,” the Chicago band’s song about screwing up a relationship has a nomadic visual, but it all relates to the track’s themes. “The song is about a relationship that I messed up because of my inability to change for her,” admits Young Man’s Colin Caulfield. “The video is about a wandering dude who is misunderstood by others and the woman that tries to take him and make him presentable. In the end, he can’t be changed. He’s that aimless figure we can all relate to … someone who doesn’t really have a strong sense of self or direction.”
Young Man’s new album Beyond Was All Around Me is out April 9 on Frenchkiss.
